A major update has arrived for the VAG Group: serial writing is now available for BOSCH MG1CSxxx engine control units via the FLASH_0794 protocol.

This solution enables reprogramming directly through the diagnostic port, with no need to open or remove the ECU. With the use of New Genius, you can optimize performance quickly and safely—without the need for a PC.

Among the supported vehicles are several iconic models with various engine types, including:

• Audi RS6 (C8/5G) – 4.0L V8 BiTurbo

• Audi A4 (B9/8W) – 2.0L 16V TFSI

• Seat Leon (5F) – 2.0L 16V TSI

• Skoda Octavia (NX) – 2.0L TFSI 140kW/188HP

• Volkswagen Golf 7 (A7) – 1.5L TSI 110kW/148HP

The new protocol expands compatibility to the following ECU types:
